“I met Amanda when she arrived at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain in October 2017. From the beginning, it was a true pleasure to have her on the team. She is a passionate leader, dedicated and very knowledgeable of the public relations and brand marketing field as it relates to luxury hospitality and fine dining. During my time at the resort, she took our 11 outlets to new heights, refreshing the food photography, brand marketing, etc. I was also consistently impressed with her creative and innovative ideas, really thinking 'out of the box' and pushing the storytelling of our chefs and dining.”

“I had the immense pleasure of working with Amanda at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain and have found her not only extremely hard-working and capable, but also enriching and inspiring. Amanda brings a vast amount of experience and I have seen a whole division learn and grow from her. Working with Amanda in whatever capacity guarantees excellent results as well as the right amount of creativity, which is crucial for the field she works in. With excellent writing skills I have seen clients and guests alike devour any marketing collateral created by her and point out her ability to "paint a picture" with mere words. Being of ambitious nature, Amanda not only pushes herself, but also her team and is very much oriented to details and does not do things half-way.”

“I met Amanda when we collaborated for a Brazilian themed event and exhibition at Miami Ironside for LAUFEN's Brazilian design presentation during Art Basel / Design Miami 2015. Certainly, she is not just a social networker, culturally-trained, open-minded, gentle and wonderfully warm-hearted, but also brings the professionalism to the agenda - always and ever again. She's able to manage a holistic process in the creative and often hectic field without loosing focus for the overall goal. Amanda is active in the operative, as well as in the strategic managerial field. She is needed everywhere. No one else writes those eMails better than she does: clear, to the point, not lacking content and well-articulated so that all in the boat must get the point. Personally, I appreciated her lively, positive nature and her unique eye for aesthetics. If it's art, fashion, design, luxury or an overall rather intangible setting. She definitely has the eye for the concept and the story.”

Working with Amanda at the Smithsonian’s National Museums of Asian Art was an absolute joy and privilege. She is a brilliant, creative professional. To experience her strategic and innovative masterminding of how to activate the museums’ holdings to be not only consumed by, but flocked to by young audiences was a highlight of my time there. Amanda created the museums’ first and, to this day, most successful program for young professionals, Asia After Dark. Through this series of parties she attracted an emerging group of creatives, members of the underground music scene, chefs working on the forefront of innovative global cuisine, and a range of other visitors ages 21-45 who might have never otherwise come to the museums or had the chance to fall in love with Buddhist, Indian, or Arab (among other) art. Amanda’s work is fueled by her curiosity for and deep appreciation of culture and design. As a result, she is able to produce engaging high-caliber events that seamlessly blend the old as well as the new and the edgy and the traditional, as they invite guests to explore place and the communing power of aesthetics. On top of all this, she’s a consummate professional, a polished and compelling speaker, and truly warm, generous, and kind colleague.
